Squirt! Bike Race & Scavenger Hunt
2 Year LAGG Anniversary Party
DATE: June 20, 2010
TIME: 1PM (Race starts 2PM SHARP)
LOCATION: Hollywood to Downtown

Its been two years since LAGG started as a group of friends planting on a forgotten corner of LA. Last month we planted 7 new gardens along the Metro Red Line and now we'd like your help to water them. But we wouldn't be LAGG if we didn't try to make it fun too!
We invite you to bring your bike or your camera and help us race to water our gardens. Come down to the finish line and celebrate 2 years of guerrilla gardening in LA with drink specials and food downtown after the race.
PRIZES FOR BIKE and PEDESTRIAN DIVISIONS!

BIKE DIVISION (Watering Mission)
Requirements:
- $5 Entry Fee
- 2 Bike Water Bottles
- Manifest will be distributed at starting line
- You must refill your bottles before getting to the checkpoint.
Details:
Ride from Hollywood to Downtown. There will be check points where riders will water gardens along the way with their sports bottles. You will be disqualified if your manifest is not signed at each checkpoint. The person who is checking you in must tell you which plants to water. Prizes for top finishers in each division. Divisions are geared, fixed, and costumed racers.
PEDESTRIAN DIVISION (Scavenger Hunt)
Requirements:
- $5 Entry Fee per person
- Teams of 2 - 4
- Purchase $5 Metro Day Pass
- All teams must have one phone capable of taking pictures and emailing photos to LAGG in real time.
- Scavenger Hunt List distributed at starting line
Details:
Ride the metro from Hollywood to Downtown and gather photos and items along the way. Bring gardening gloves! If you don't have a team we will do our best to create a few teams the day of the race but you must arrive early. Divisions are costumed and non-costumed scavengers.
FINISH LINE
Finish downtown and party with us!

-Bike divisions - geared, fixed & costumed racers.
-Pedestrian divisions - costumed & non-costumed.
Scavenger Hunt photos will be voted on/displayed
