There are a lot of ways to get involved in Guerrilla Gardening and truly make a difference in your community. Even if you only have an hour to spare, you can still lend a hand. Here are some descriptions on how to help.

START YOUR OWN GARDEN
Time Commitment: A lot
Gardening Knowledge: Little to Expert
Starting and maintaining your own garden is definitely a commitment, but with help from friends and your community, it's easier than you think! If you're interested in starting your own, please check out our Tips & Tricks page and send an email to Mr. Stamen. We would love to help you organize your first dig and give you tips on plants, how to enlist troop members and what it takes to maintain it. (For the record, Mr. Stamen started his first garden with practically ZERO gardening experience...so don't let no gardening experience scare you away.)
VOLUNTEER ON A DIG
Time Commitment: A few hours
Gardening Knowledge: Little to none
As we organize digs, we can contact you to volunteer at a specific dig. You will be helping to pull weeds, pick up trash, bring plants and create a garden. Join our mailing list to find out more.
HELP MAINTAIN A GARDEN CLOSE TO YOU
Time Commitment: One hour a week
Gardening Knowledge: Little to none
To ensure new gardens don't end up overgrown and/or underwatered, we need troops who are willing to stop by and water the garden as well us pick up any trash and do minor weed pulling. Contact us to find a garden near you.
DONATE ITEMS
Time Commitment: Seconds
Gardening Knowledge: None
We are always in need of tools, mulch, plants, water jugs, gloves and expertise. You can donate items to LAGG in general or to a specific dig.

DONATE MONEY
Time Commitment: Seconds
Gardening Knowledge: None
You can donate directly to LAGG online via PayPal. The money donated to LAGG goes directly towards purchasing plants and tools for all of our digs. If you'd like to donate to a specific dig, please specify the location in the PayPal transaction by clicking "Add special instructions to the seller."
You can also donate gift cards to LAGG. You can contact your local nursery or even purchase them online from stores like:
Lowes or Home Depot
